Vision

Development of environmentally benign and sustainable technologies is a critical need. Increasing use of renewables for producing fuels and industrial products necessitates a systematic approach for utilization of renewable biomaterials. We strive to develop  bioprocess technologies for processing renewable bioresources.

 

Through multidisciplinary, inter and intra institutional collaborative efforts, we will focus on:

1. Development of sustainable and environment friendly technologies to utilize renewable bioresources for production of fuels and value added coproducts.

2. Control of biological and ecological systems.

3. Process modeling, simulation and analysis.
